Please note: issues related to Bank Feeds are usually resolved within 2 weeks for major banks, however we are dependent on our Bank Feeds provider for all resolutions, and are unable to provide specific dates or estimates. For the smaller institutions it can take months for syncing to be resolved, and occasionally we become unable to sync with a bank ever again.

We have received information that Westpac has started sending a secondary code that must be entered to login for some customers. If this is happening for your account, Budget Feeder will no longer able to sync. However, we are now seeing syncs succeed for the majority of Westpac customers.

26/9/2024 - Bank Feeds Provider - resolved
Our Bank Feeds provider experienced an outage that caused all Bank Connections to be dropped. They have now resolved this issue, but you need to take some action to resume syncing.

To get your accounts syncing again, you will need to reconnect them. If you see instructions to do this when you log in to Budget Feeder you can simply follow them. If there are no instructions, please visit https://app.budgetfeeder.com/bank_connections/new , click the green button and follow the instructions.

Please note that after entering your login details, the system may take a long time to continue for some banks, up to a few minutes. This issue is with our Bank Feeds provider, however from what we have seen if you wait a few minutes it will eventually connect.

Once you have reconnected your banks, the system will automatically perform a sync to catch up on any un-synced transactions. This will usually happen within 5 minutes however in some cases may happen the following day during your next scheduled sync run.
